Alexander T. Kallas, 74, passed away away June 22, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. Alex was born January 13, 1951 in Steubenville, Ohio, the son of the late Theodore and Helen Kallas. Alex, affectionately known as "Big Al", founded Custom Trim of America in 1971. He worked alongside his father in the early years pioneering the aftermarket accessories industry in Northeast Ohio. He was the "Original Customize Your Car Guy". Through the years, you could find him at the shop with his late bulldog "Buford". Alex was a man of his word. He will always be remembered for his endless energy, drive, positivity and especially his graciousness for the opportunity that a new day would bring. Alex is survived by his wife and longtime soulmate, Jennifer; his French Bulldog "Pippa"; sister Michelle Branson; children Alexis (Matt), and Nicholas (Olivia); grandchildren Carson and Asher; extended family Jennifer and Brent Bowling and their children Frankie and Cash; as well as many family and friends. Visitation will be 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM Friday, June 27, 2025 at the Adams Mason Funeral Home (791 East Market Street). A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
