Anita Cate

Anita Cate, 65, of Akron, Ohio passed away October 22, 2022, following Covid 19. She was born June 12, 1957, in Akron, the daughter of James and Emma Cate (Knight). Anita worked a variety of jobs, spending most of her career helping design kitchens and bathrooms. She was a loving aunt, an avid animal enthusiast, and especially loved her dogs and cats. In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in death by her grandparents Pierce Wade and Hattie May (Butcher) Knight, and Claude and Rosa Cate, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is survived by her sister Brenda (Ken) Fix, niece Kimberly Cate, great-niece Courtney Pool, great-great niece Ember Hill, Aunt Garnet, and many cousins. Visitation Friday October 28, 2022, 12:30-1:30 PM with funeral service following at Adams Mason 791 E. Market St. Akron, OH 443005. Interment Greenlawn Cemetery.
