Anita C. Moyers

Anita C. Moyers, aged 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9th, 2026 surrounded by her husband and family.

Originally born in Gassaway, West Virginia, Anita moved to Mogadore and lived there for over fifty years. When not spending time with her family, she enjoyed tending to her plants or reading.

Anita is survived by her husband of 70 years, Robert Moyers, and their three children Sharon (Jim) Brandt, Terry (Jim) Cooley, and Bobby (Beth) Moyers; granddaughters Crystal (Jason) Hamblin, Alyssa (Bradley) Russell and Erin Moyers; great-grandchildren Caiden Shaw, Holly and Audrey Gillespie, and Duncan Russell; step-granddaughters Jennifer Messina and family, and Lindsay Anderson.

She was preceded in death by parents Harley and Virgie Chapman, brother Oval Chapman, and sisters Gwen Arnold and Donna Craft.

Per Anita’s wishes, cremation has taken place; also per her and her family’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
