Anna Marie Harper, 92, of Akron, Ohio, passed away on December 23, 2025. She was born on June 5, 1933, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Albert and Hazel Eidman.

Anna spent part of her early life living in Towner, North Dakota, before returning to Akron, where she completed her education. She was a proud graduate of Buchtel High School, Class of 1951.

On May 12, 1962, Anna married Charles R. Harper. Together they shared many years of companionship and adventure. Charles preceded her in death several years prior.

Anna was a faithful and dedicated employee of Burger Iron Steel Company in Akron, where she worked for many years and was known for her reliability and strong work ethic.

She had a great love for travel and spent countless happy days camping and sightseeing across the country, especially enjoying visits to America’s national parks. In later years, Anna found joy and friendship through her many community activities at Silver Lake Towers, where she remained socially active and deeply connected with friends.

Anna is survived by her two sons, James Harper and Rich Harper, who will cherish her memory and the life lessons she shared. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of Anna’s life will be held at a later date.
