Barbara Kay Coleman

Barbara Kay Coleman, 70, passed away October 28, 2026 after a brief illness.  She was born July 23, 1956 in Akron, the daughter of the late James and Donna Bickett.  

Barbara will always be remembered as a person who was ready to help others.  She was ornery and had a great sense of humor.  Barbara loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She loved to dance, tending to her rose garden, cooking and baking for the holidays, as well as collecting owl figurines.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her infant daughter Tabitha Jean Jordon.  She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years Rickey E. Coleman; daughter Sheila (Terry) Holstein; son Christopher (Amanda) Bickett; daughter Brandy Coleman; son Rickey (Halle) Coleman Jr.; grandchildren Sapphire, Virginia, Tiffany, Liza, Terry, Piper, Jean Elizabeth, Jason, Rachel, Tressie, David, Emma Leigh, and Alyssa Rose; sisters Shirley (Bill) Holloway, and Ann Horonetz; as well as her brother Larry Bickett.
