Barbara Lucille Salisbury

Barbara Salisbury, 86, went home to be with Jesus on March 18, 2026, after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, who was the love of her life. She leaves her daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Eddie Dalrymple, and Dottie and Dave Etapa, her devoted baby sister Margaret, stepchildren Ronald and his wife Pat, Randy, Bobbie, Larry, and Susie, and special niece and nephew, Kathy and her husband Larry Moore, and Ronnie Gross, whose singing made her so happy. She was blessed with 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was their “Bobie” and they all loved her very much.
Barbara was a member of Home Missionary Baptist Church for several decades. She had a quiet manner and a sweet spirit and was loved by her friends. Shortly before her passing, she was blessed to be able to enjoy an all-day Celebration of Life and a week of visits from family and friends, where close to 100 people were able to show their love and affection for her. Calling hours on Monday, March 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the funeral service immediately following at 1:00, at Home Missionary Baptist Church (1922 Oakes Drive, Akron 44312).  Pastor Keith Emhoff officiating.  Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
