Barbara K. Synder

Barbara K. Snyder, 80, passed away May 12, 1943. She was born January 30, 1943, in Akron, the daughter of the late Robert and Eileen Kiggins. During her growing up years, Barbara became fond of dance and later taught classes. A memorable note was when she received an invitation from the Rockettes for a summer internship at the age of 16. She ultimately turned it down, not liking the idea of being far from home to be with family. Her family is where she found true enjoyment. She will always be remembered as a person who had a story to tell.

Barbara is survived by her children Laura (Gene) Kibby, Kristine McFarland, Ed (Candy) Snyder; 10 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
