Beverly Kay (Willison) Bolser, 69, of Akron, Ohio passed away on August 9, 2025 in her home surrounded by family.
Bev was life partners of 41 years to Don Blankenship, and the proud mother of Bernadette (Bolser) Brandenburg (partner, Chris), grandchildren Hali and Miranda), Prudence (Bolser) Morris (spouse Alex Morris, grandchildren Nate, Natalie, and Noelle), Tim Bolser (partner, Melissa), grandchild, Nolan, and Elijah Bleu Blankenship (partner, Tia). Her grandchildren were a source of pride and love.
She spent many years working as a nurse, caring for others with skill and a steady hand. She was a hard worker, whether on the job or at home. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, generosity, and grit. She enjoyed gardening when she was able, cooking, and connecting with her lifelong friend, Terry Sroka (aka Terry Mom). She talked to everyone and never knew a stranger.
She enjoyed movies, music, and dancing. She loved her dogs, her sisters, and being surrounded by the people she loved.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Willison and Catherine Willison-Sandoli, sisters Patty (Calhoun) Furman and Cathy (Fisher) Hughey. She is survived by her sister, Molly Nye.
