Beverly Ann Epling

Beverly Ann Epling, 77, a lifelong resident of Akron, Ohio, died October 23, 2026, at Pleasant View Health Care Center in Barberton, Ohio. She was born in Akron to Carl D. Epling and Mary Nell (née Ramsey) Epling.

Bev loved her family, meeting new people, and adventuring with friends. She would do anything for the people she loved. Knowing your name mattered to her. She never forgot a name or a story. She had a green thumb. Every plant she touched flourished! Her decorating style was cute, warm, and inviting. She had an infectious laugh and playful, even ornery, sense of humor.

She worked in retail and customer service before opening her own independent cleaning business. She had long standing customers whose relationships continued beyond her retirement.

Her small group at Grace Church Bath Campus held a special place in her heart. She treasured opportunities to fellowship and serve alongside them.

Bev is survived by her sister, Kimberly (née Epling) Jatich, and husband, Jeff Jatich; her niece, Kelley Jatich; and her nephew, Sean Jatich, all of the Parrish, Florida, area. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl D. and Mary Nell Epling, and her brother, David Epling.

Bev’s family would like to acknowledge the love and support of Jennifer Ramsey and Janice Jatich.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
