Carl Arthur Davis

Carl A. Davis of Akron, Ohio. Born on November 13, 1952, he peacefully went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 02, 2025.

Carl is a native of Akron Ohio, he attended and graduated South High School in 1970. At an early age Carl expressed his fondness cars and obtained a job at Chrysler. Of all the model cars, the Cadillac stood out the most and was far most the best in Carl's eyes this is how he gained his nickname, “CAD”. Carl had a big personality and was not a stranger to anyone he embraced all with a smile and his charm. He spent his time fishing, watching sports, grilling and was an avid lover of dogs.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents; Mathew and Hattie Davis, sister; Kathy Davis, and beloved son; Dewaun Davis. Carl leaves to cherish his memory, former wife; Marlene Davis, children; Monique Smith and Carl Davis, grandchildren; Desmond and Desere’ Childers and Christopher Smith, brothers; Gregg and Anthony (Senta) Davis, special niece; Tiffany Davis, and a host of close relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM Friday May 9, 2025 at the Adams Mason Funeral Home (791 East Market Street).

Repast Dinner will be served at 5 PM at the Veterans Foreign War (VFW), 85 6th St NW, Barberton, OH 44203
