Carol J Meyers (nee Klamm) 87, passed away peacefully January 22, 2026. Born August 21, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Andrew and Catherine (nee Nothoff) Klamm. Beloved mother of Laura (Dale) Grospitch, cherished grandmother of Christopher Grospitch (Makayla) and Kelly Smith (Roger). Dearest sister of Mary Carroll (nee Klamm) (deceased) and sister-in-law to Mike Carroll (deceased). Dearest aunt to Michele Buening (Brad), Lori McGrath (Mike), Amanda Kettler (deceased) and Shaun Carroll. First cousin to Ruth Wolf and second cousin to Rita Smith, Lisa Smith (deceased), Roberta Smith (deceased), James Smith, Michael Smith, Dennis Lengle, Bonnie Granger and Patricia Granger Hoar (deceased). Great-aunt to many. Carol had lifetime friends through her employment at Ohio Bell, Kirkwood Industries and The Renaissance Retirement Facility.

Carol lived a life defined by kindness, compassion and her love for animals, nature, the earth and environment. In her heart, Carol always held the memory of her two horses, many cats and especially her beloved dog, Precious. Her love for animals reflected her gentle spirit and nurturing nature. Carol had so many good qualities, but was especially genuine, generous, intuitive and quick-witted.

No services will be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the ASPCA or charity of choice.
