Carolyn S. Lutz

Carolyn Lutz – 85 was called to heaven July 17th, 2025. She was born on October 18th, 1939

Carolyn was born in Akron, Ohio to Carl and Marylee Schweikert.

Carolyn raised both her children in New Franklin ( Manchester ) Ohio prior to moving to Cuyahoga Falls where she lived the remainder of her life. She was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church in Stow, Ohio. She worked for Akron Automobile Club then opened Signature Travel in Fairlawn eventually returning to Akron Automobile Club Cuyahoga Falls Branch where she retired.

She is proceeded in death by: Husband – Wilford Irwin Lutz, Parents- Carl Schweikert, Marylee Smith, Brothers–John ( Jack ) Schweikert, Carl ( Larry) Schweikert (Emlyn ) and grandson Christopher Lee Carruthers.

She is survived by Children: Son - William Gough Roderick and Daughter – Dana Lynn Carruthers.

Grand Children: Rachel Roderick, Kevin Michael Carruthers, Nicholas Lee Carruthers, Jonathan Michael Zito ( Savannah ) and Great GrandChildren: Kaiden J. Cerny, Mya Rose Carruthers, Braxton Michael Zito, Kaydence Harrison, Kaite Harrison and Kiera Harrison and many friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Carolyn on Sunday September 14th from 1 to 3pm, at St. Stephens Lutheran Church 3725 Kent Road, Stow, Ohio.
