Christine Ann Powers

Christine Ann Powers, 81, passed away April 20, 2026.  She was born February 13, 1945 in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Albert and Catherine Nowak.  Christine will always be remembered as a caring person.  She was hardworking and was willing to help anyone.  In her free time she loved cooking, baking, and tending to her flower gardens.  In addition to her parents, Christine is preceded in death by her husband Donald Powers; daughter Tonya Powers; brother Clifford Nowak; and brother-in-law Kenneth Powers.  She is survived by her loving daughter Cathleen Hughes; granddaughter Kellie Ann Hughes; sisters-in-law Jean Nowak and Linda Powers; as well as many other family and friends.  Per her wishes cremation will take place.  A memorial mass will be held Wednesday May 20, 2026 at 10AM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Brunswick, Ohio.  Receiving family and friends at 9AM.  Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
