Christopher W. Gregg

August 12, 1970 — March 2, 2024

Chris William Gregg I, 53, of Ashland, Ohio passed away March 2, 2024 at Ohio Lifecare Hospice. He was born August 12, 1970 in Sandusky, Ohio, the son of Vicky (Briggs) Goon and the late Robert Gregg.

Chris was a graduate of Mapleton High School in 1988. He was heavily involved in various sports and clubs. Chris was a proud father who spent many years of his life at many ballfields, stadiums, and gymnasiums. In his free time he could be found out golfing or spoiling his grandpuppies. Chris spent his life as an Avid Ohio sports teams fan. Chris was a man of few words but never missed an opportunity to make a joke.

Chris is preceded in death by his loving father, Robert Gregg.

Chris leaves behind many to cherish his memory. His dear mother Vicky (Dave) Goon, brother Charles Gregg, sister Angela Schneider, children Christopher (Julie) Gregg, Shelbi (J.J.) Espy, future grandson Elliot Gregg, grandpuppies Thor, Moose, Millie, Milo and Buckeye, grandkitty Fat Boy along with many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a thank you to Ohio Life Care Hospice for all of their care and assistance.

A celebration of Christopher's life will be held on March 23 at The Ashland Eagles Club from 2:00 PM- 6:00 PM.
