Christopher John Jones

Christopher John Jones, 57, passed away June 17, 2024 after a long illness.  He was born August 4, 1966, in Akron, the son of the late Thomas and Katherine Jones.  He graduated from Ellet High School and later served in the United State Army.  He worked as a Summit County Deputy Sheriff and an RTA Bus Driver.  Chris will always be remembered as a man devoted to his family.  He had a great sense of humor and liked to talk.   He was very caring and always looked out for his neighbors.  In addition to his parents, Chris is preceded in death by his step-father Kenny Reese.  He is survived by his loving wife Michelle E. Jones; sons Shane Jones and Stephen (Deanna) Jones; daughter Bailey Jones; step-sons David (Savanna) Bissett and Dale Cerett; grandchildren Tanner Doyle, Destiny Smith, Xavier and Chance Bissett, Kyren Hill, Trenton Jones, Treshawn Hill, Isabelle Jones and Sophia Jones; siblings Tom (Charlotte) Jones, Jeff (Regina) Jones, David Jones, Cory Jones, and Lisa Jones; as well as his former wife Shannon Buchanan.  Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.  Chris will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
