Clifford Louis Johnson Jr.

In loving memory of Clifford Louis Johnson Jr., 78, of Akron, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2026 at Akron City Hospital.

Born on August 24, 1947, in Barberton, Ohio, to the parents of the late Erma Lee Johnson and Clifford Johnson Sr., he was the eldest of the six siblings.

Along with his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his brother, Freddy and two sons, Gerald and Michael.

He leaves behind his sons, Darryl and Matthew; daughter, Desiree (John) Curtis; sons, Asa and Jeremiah; daughter, Kendra; sister, Barbara Ann, Norma Jean; brother, Melvin, Mike; cousins Shorter “Shorty” and Vonnie Griffin; as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

Funeral Services will be held at Noon on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Adams Mason Funeral Home 791 E. Market St. Akron, Ohio 44305 with Pastor Kim Lawrence officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.
