Cynthia Lynne Minth

November 25, 1954 — March 17, 2024

Cynthia “Cindy” Minth, 69, of Ravenna, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on March 17th 2024, surrounded by her family - with gospel music playing – exactly the way she wanted to – and on her own terms.

In the days leading to her passing, she told her family many times she would be “flying free like a bird with Jesus” - And that she is.

Born November 25th, 1954 – Cindy was the purest of souls. She was compassionate, caring, and full of wisdom. There are no words to adequately express the depth of who Cindy was in a few paragraphs, but those who knew her, loved her.

Cindy enjoyed reading, fishing, building jigsaw puzzles, listening to music, making up her own music trivia games, and being an aunt. The sound of her laughter is especially memorable. She was the first to laugh at you for getting hurt – lovingly, of course.

Cindy is survived by her life partner and soul mate of 30 years- Traci Brandt. Rarely apart from each other in three decades together, Traci devotedly and selflessly cared for Cindy until the very end. The story of their love and dedication will forever “Give em’ something to talk about”.

She is also survived by her baby boy and cat Joey - sisters, Pat Robinson (Jimmy), Berneda Polly (Jimmy), Jody Brandt (Penny), and Vickie Miller (Russ), and many beloved nieces and nephews. She had especially fond memories with Michelle Holt (Dave), Abbey Minth-Powell (Brandon), Ashley Taylor (Bill), Joshua Stamper, Courtney Holcomb (Jacob), Nicole Stamper (Travis), and Ryan Stamper.

Cindy is preceded in death by her parents – Clara Ruth Kelley Connor and John Minth, her sisters Jacqueline Taylor, Donna Lysyj and Debbie Calhoun, brothers David Minth and John Minth, her great-great nephew Kaiden Stamper, in-laws Harry and Nancy Brandt, and brother-in-laws Jimmy Robinson and Jimmy Polly.

Cremation has taken place.
