Danny Harris, 53, passed away in Fairlawn, Ohio, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, adventure, and love. Born and raised in Pensacola, Florida, Danny’s life took him to many places across the country, but no matter where he was, he had a way of making it feel like home. While his life’s journey took him to many corners of the country, Danny’s roots began in the warm coastal city of Pensacola, Florida—a place that shaped his easygoing nature, love of the outdoors, and gift for building friendships wherever he went.
Danny was the beloved husband of Suzanne Harris and the proud father of Tyler, Suzie, and Danielle Harris—his greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. He is also survived by his brother, Nick Harris, his sister, Kelly Harris, and his parents, John and Pam Harris. But to each of them, he was more than a title. He was their constant, their encourager, their safe place to land. His family was his proudest achievement and his greatest joy, and he never missed an opportunity to let them know how much he loved them.
A man of deep faith, Danny was a devoted Christian who attended Redemption Chapel in Stow, Ohio. He lived out his beliefs in quiet, consistent ways—through kindness, generosity, humility, and the way he always put others first. His faith wasn’t just something he talked about; it was something you could see in how he treated people, how he forgave, and how he faced life’s challenges. His relationship with God was his foundation, guiding the way he lived—with generosity, kindness, and humility.
Danny had a passion for living life fully, weather it was teeing off on the golf course, feeling the wind on his face while riding backroads on his motorcycle, exploring new places through travel, and most of all, simply spending cherished moments with his family. Those who knew him will remember his quick wit, easy laugh, and the way he could make any gathering brighter just by being there.
Those who knew him best will remember a man who loved fully, laughed often, and lived without holding back. He was the kind of friend who showed up when you needed him, the kind of father who led with love and example, and the kind of husband who cherished his wife not just in words but in the daily ways he cared for her.
Though our hearts are heavy, and his passing leaves a space that cannot be filled, Danny’s spirit lives on in the countless memories, lessons, and love he shared. His life reminds us to embrace each day, to pursue what brings us joy, and to never take for granted the people who matter most.
We take comfort in knowing Danny is home with the Lord. A memorial service will be held in Florida at a later date to celebrate the life of a man who lived fully, loved deeply, and left us far too soon.
