David Lee Miller Sr.

David Lee Miller Sr., 69, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on February 2, 2026.  He was born February 18, 1956 in Chardon, Ohio, the son of the late Sam and Vera Miller.  Dave will always be remembered as a laid back and selfless free spirit.  Sports were a big part of his life.  You could always find him at the golf course, going bowling or playing fumbleball.  At home, he would be rooting for his Steelers, Crimson Tide, or Yankees.  All of this equaled spending time with of his friends.  Dave is survived by his longtime companion, Sharon Flint; son David L. Miller Jr.; daughter Samantha (Sean) Waggoner; granddaughters Ava and Emily; sister Diane (Chad) Heimann; as well as his nephews Justin (Mandy) Johnson and Nathan (Jenna) Heimann.  Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. 

A celebration of life will be March 8, 2026 from 12:00pm-3:00pm at Foltz Community Center 224 N. Wood Street East Canton, Ohio 44730.  In lieu of flowers, any contributions may be made to Cleveland Clinic Hospice.  The family would like to graciously thank hospice for compassionate care.
