Deborah J. King

Deborah J. King, 72, passed away August 10, 2026 after a battle with cancer.  She was born June 1, 1954 in Akron, the daughter of the late Robert and Carol Morris.  Deborah will always be remembered as a high spirited person who would speak her mind.  She had a stubborn flair.  More than anything Deborah was a loving mother and grandmother, and even on her deathbed showed concern for everyone else.  Her favorite things included crocheting, going to the races, playing bingo, and in her early years she loved swimming.  Deborah is survived by her children Christopher (Ann) Kennedy, Sherrie Kennedy, Ralph Strader Jr., Robert and Michael Bargo; grandchildren Jacob, Christa, Kaylee Kennedy, Daniel Whitaker and Brandy Fernwalt; great grandchildren Madilyn and Everleighs Trivett, and Joseph Ellis Jr. 

Visitation will be 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Monday, August 17, 2026 at the Adams Mason Funeral Home (791 East Market Street), where funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 PM.  Pastor Dwayne Ray will officiate.  Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
