Deborah Roberta Shortridge

Deborah Shortridge.  Born Jan 25, 1963 at akron general hospital.  Chosen daughter of Martha and James O'Donnell. Devoted wife of James Shortridge,  mother of son James Wagner and devoted mother and best friend of daughter Trulee Wagner.  Debby always had a positive outlook on life. Despite the many hardships and challenges she had to endure,  she never let it break her or make her bitter. Instead it made her incredibly strong,  brave, empathetic , honest and kind.  If you were to Picture a ray of sunshine on a gloomy day...it gives you hope, a bit of warmth,  a glimpse of positivity and all around better feeling.  Debby wasn't just a ray of light but the entire sun itself. With such a positive and contagious presence that was matched with her sassy and hilarious humor. She really did have the ability to make anyone smile or laugh even on their worst day. A woman that was too good for this world. Debby was a true warrior throughout her tough fight with cancer and continously showed strength, determination, positivity and honesty while never letting her sickness break her spirit and it never did. She left this world knowing that she was deeply  loved and words can't describe how greatly she will be missed .
