Deborah A. Whitney

Debby went home peacefully to be with our Lord on Sunday, December 17th, 2023, at the age of 73.  She was the wife of 52 years to her husband George. 

Debby was born on June 11, 1950, in Bradford, PA to the late Edward (Josephine) Petillo, and Helen Louise (Robert) Hayes.  She had two siblings, the late Fredrick “Ricky” Petillo and a loving sister Mary (John) Koscelnik with whom she resided.

Throughout her life, Debby’s journey had many paths.  She never met a person she didn’t like, and she always had a smile and laugh for everyone; they were both infectious and loving.  No matter where she traveled, she was always at home and peace with her savior.  She took pride in knowing that she was destined to live a glorious life in Heaven. 

Debby is survived by her husband George.  Her children, Scott (Kim) and Brenda, grandchildren, Zach (Leigh Ann) Kuzmik, Luke Kuzmik, Abigail Rose “Abby”, great-grandson, Elias James Kuzmik, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be no visitation or service per her wishes.  As an avid animal lover, donations can be made in Debby's honor to any local animal shelter or the ASPCA.
