Debra L. Simmons

Debra L. Simmons, 69, of Akron, Ohio passed away September 28, 2022. She was born December 2, 1952, in Akron, the daughter of Howard and Adeline Fleshman (Varrecchia). On June 16, 2012, she married Ricky Simmons. Together they shared 10 years of marriage. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her sister and best friend Linda. Their favorite past time was making jewelry together.

She is preceded in death by her father Howard Fleshman; mother Adeline Fleshman; brother Leonard Fleshman; and sister Linda Cartwright. She is survived by her husband Ricky Simmons; sister-in-law Irene Fleshman; daughters Tammy (Will) Grant, Ellen (Matthew) Morris, and Linda Dickey; son Richard Kolling; grandchildren Nicholas, Cameron, Brendon, Dejuan, Sabrina, Terrell, Brittany, and Terrance; great-grandchildren Kinsley, Andrew, and Tamiyah; nieces Cindy, Debbie, and Julie; nephew Shawn; and many other great nieces and nephews, friends, and family.

A Celebration of Debbie's Life will be held Friday November 11, 2022, at 5:30 PM at Goodyear Heights Metro Park Lodge 2077 Newton Street, Akron, Ohio 44305.
