Delores Bartholomew

Delores J. Bartholomew, 89, of Akron, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 2, 2023. She was born 1933 in Akron, Ohio the daughter of Michael Schuster and Dorothy Hunt.

Her greatest achievement was when she became the first female police security officer in 1982 while working at Goodyear Aerospace and Loral. She retired with 35 yrs of service. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos.

She Preceded in death by her father Michael Schuster, mother Dorothy Butler, and sister Lillian Jarvis.

She is survived by her loving children Pamela and Ronald Bartholomew, and special daughter Kathy Jo, sisters Patti Butler and Janet Robinson, one grandchild Michael and many nephews and nieces.

She led a full life with making many friends and loved her children with all of her heart. Love ya, love ya, love ya Mom. You will always be in our hearts. She will be sadly missed by us all.
