Delores Jean Eddy

Mom. Mamaw, Dee, Aunt Chick, left this earth Dec. 20, 2024 at the age of 91. Born in WVa to the late Joseph and Rose Suplita, she and her husband raised their family in Akron, OH where they lived out the rest of their lives. They were active members of the P.L.A.V. Post 32 and she served in various capacities over the years, including bartender and President of the Ladies Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hubert D. Eddy and her eldest daughter, Mary Ann Eddy. She is survived by her two daughters, Donna J. Ormsby (Dennis Ormsby, deceased) and Linda J. McAfee (Shannon McAfee), four grandchildren, Sammy Lynch (Tammy), James Lynch, Donald Stockton, and Valerie Carrizal (Stockton), many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and extended family.
