Diane K. Casto

Diane K. Casto, 76, passed away May 15, 2023 in Stow.  She was born December 16, 1946 in Akron, the daughter of the late Ralph and Dora Tillett.  Diane will always be remembered as a hard worker, as she provided for her five girls as a single mother.  She had a twist of sarcastic wit that she passed down to all her daughters.  She loved going to the beach and traveling, and visited 49 states with her husband Jim.  Diane enjoyed puzzles and there was always one on the table.  

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Katt Hutko; sister Kay Lansbury; and brother Larry Tillett.  Diane is survived by her daughters Kim (Tom Saffles) Jarrell, Kari (Johnny Hines) Spears, Kris Gerrard, and Kandice (Scott) Ingram; grandchildren Robert Devereux, Rebecca Cornell, Keith Holcomb, Ian Spears, Melinda Spears, Tim Smith, Zack Smith, and Elian Lorduy.  Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be 1:00 PM Sunday, May 21, 2023 at the home of Kari Spears ( 1541 Lillian Road in Stow.)
