Dina M. Blake

Dina M. Blake, 68, of Shalersville Twp. Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 after a courageous battle against an aggressive and rare cancer.

Born on May 18, 1957 in Cleveland, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (LaCourse) Mazzone.

Dina dedicated her life to her kids and grandchildren. She enjoyed reading poolside in the summer, shopping trips with her daughters, spending time with her grandchildren, and traveling as much as she could. She worked for Rotek, Inc in Aurora, Ohio for 38 years.

Dina will be greatly missed by those surviving her, including her husband, David Blake; daughters, Jenna Brooks and Alyssa Blake; son, Christopher Brooks (Chrissie Brooks); step son, Matt Blake (Sara Blake) and grandchildren; Caiden Brooks, Griffin Brooks, and Viah Blake.

Preceding her in death along with her parents were William and Elizabeth Blake (Dina’s in-laws).

Honoring Dina’s wishes, there will be no formal services or ceremony. A cremation has taken place. The family wishes for a prayer to be made on her behalf in her memory.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Portage Animal Protective League Shelter.
