Doris Williams

Doris J. Williams, 76, was born 12/3/1949 she passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 5th. surrounded by the love of her family and a lifetime of cherished memories.

Doris was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harley A. Williams; her mother, Dorothy Harry; her father, Charlie Reed; her son James Williams sr; and her grandson, Jesse R. Smith.

She is survived by her loving children, Sean (Vickie), Vickie (Everett), and Kathy (Charlie) and her best friend Kenny.

She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Jay, Brooke (Alicia), Michelle (James), Harley III, Charles Jr., (Kaycee), Justin (Haley), Shauna, Josh (Aubriey), Phelisha, Junior, and Aleayah. She was also blessed with her great-grandchildren, Jayla, Allayah, Victory, Charles III, Effie, Kalleigh, Caleb, Paisley, Ryder, and James Jr., who brought her endless joy and pride.

Doris was a proud member of the Orioles, VFW, and American Legion Post 449. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, playing bingo, watching racing, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, and never missing an opportunity to watch WWE wrestling. She loved gathering with those she cared about and was always ready to share a story, a laugh, or an opinion on the latest race, football game, or wrestling.

Doris will be remembered for her strength, loyalty, sense of humor, and the love she shared so freely with her family and friends. Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created and the lives she touched will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Doris’s life will be held at Adam’s Mason funeral home on June 11th 3-6pm. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor her memory and share stories of a life well lived.
