Douglas Edward Cameron

Douglas Edward Cameron, 66, passed away on 7/23/2025. He was born May 6, 1959 in Akron Ohio. Doug resided at Hanover Healthcare Center in Massillon where he had made many friends over the years, both residents and staff. Doug enjoyed playing cards and bingo and eating good food. He was a very compassionate and caring person and was always trying to help others. He had a great sense of humor and a wonderful laugh and loved animals. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Diane Cameron. He is survived by his sisters Julie (Bill) Slusser, Melinda (Jon) Duncan, Elizabeth (William) Cameron-Miller, and Jennifer Cameron; as well as uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephew, and great nieces. In lieu of a funeral, donations can be made to your charity of choice or your local Humane Society. Also, please take time out to sit with family and friends for a good game of cards in his memory.
