Eugene R. Nader

Eugene R. “Gene” Nader of Stow, Ohio passed away peacefully on December 6th, 2024 at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Gene was a devoted father, grandfather and friend who will be missed by many.

Gene is survived by his son Eric (Deanna) and his daughter Amanda (Matthew) Stem; cherished grandfather to Addison, Dorian and Atlas Nader and to Mason, Mac and Monroe Stem; stepsons Kevin, Chad and Chris Wilson; brother Ronald Nader (Carlene); sister in law Cindy Nader; along with many nieces and nephews.

An avid motorcycle enthusiast, Gene enjoyed the freedom of the open road and the camaraderie of fellow riders. Gene could fix anything, had the patience to teach you along the way and was always up for the challenge. His kind and quiet spirit was a hallmark of his personality, and he embraced life with an open mind and measured approach.

We would like to thank the staff at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center, especially members of the Heroes Harbor Hospice team for their exceptional care.

Per his wishes, cremation has already taken place by Adams Mason Funeral Home in Akron, Ohio. A funeral service with military honors will be held on January 8th, 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to join us as we celebrate his life and honor his memory.
