Frank Eugene Wingrove Jr.

Frank Eugene Wingrove Jr., aged 61, passed away on August 3, 2026, in Akron, OH. He was born on December 10, 1964. Frank was a graduate of Coventry High School and spent his career as a partner at Exchange Signs, a business he proudly ran with his father, Frank Wingrove Sr., who preceded him in death along with his mother, Thelma “Geri” Bellman. Frank's work was not just a job but a passion, filled with the joy of creating and collaborating closely with his father.

Described by those who knew him as kindhearted, respectful, funny, and generously welcoming, Frank was deeply family-oriented. He cherished his long-term partner, Barbra Heller, and was a devoted father to his sons, Frank Wingrove III (Jayne), Matthew Wingrove (Ashley), and Greggory Wingrove. Frank was a man of simple interests. He was an avid fan of the OSU Buckeyes, enjoyed attending concerts, and was known for his skills both in curating music and DJing. His love for late-night bonfires and spending quality time with friends and family filled his evenings with laughter and warmth.

Frank was a longtime member of Akron Eagles 555, Akron F.O.P.A. #6, Allenside Athletic Club, and F. & A.M. Portage Lakes Lodge 752/New Franklin Lodge 803.

Friends may call to honor Frank's life at Adams Mason Funeral Home on Tuesday August 11th, 2026 from 5pm-7pm. Those who knew him will remember a man who lived his life with a deep commitment to those he loved. Frank Wingrove Jr. will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and unending kindness.
