Frankie J. Casmar

Frankie Casmar, 95, passed away November 11, 2025.  She was born May 11, 1930 in Akron, the daughter of the late Frank and Thelma McCloskey.  She married Jack Casmar on February 11, 1956, and were together for over 56 years.  Frankie worked at miscellaneous jobs while raising three kids. She earned a real estate license and worked at the Salvation Army in the 1970's on Maple Street.  Frankie later retired from AMHA in 1992 after 15 years of service.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Jack; and daughters Anita and June.  Frankie is survived by her son Mark (Jeannie) Casmar; daughters Lori and her dog Snickers, and Judy (Ross) Sowl; grandchildren Aleese Casmar, Carrie (Jonathan) Williams, Christopher (Samara) Plummer, Kathleen (Darren) Gardner, and Gregory (Liliana) Sowl; great grandchildren Hailey, Andrew, Amiya, Patrick, Elaina, Aubrey, Jason, Emma, and Nora; as well as several nieces and nephews.  Per her wishes cremation will take place and private services will be held.  Memorial contributions may be made to:  Akron Blind Center and/or Traditions Hospice.  Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186.
