Garry L. Gray

Garry Lee Gray, age 69, of Akron, Ohio, passed away on January 5, 2026, at his home in Akron.Garry was born on July 14, 1956, in Akron, Ohio, where he spent most of his life.

More than anything, Garry will be remembered for his personality, especially his humor. He was a fun-loving, creative soul with a natural gift for art. He had an eye for creativity that came effortlessly and he expressed himself in ways that reflected his imagination and individuality. He was also known for his physical strength and athleticism, traits that stayed with him throughout most of his life. During his life he enjoyed art, weightlifting, cooking, and spending time with his friends and four sons.

He was a father whose humor and unique character left a lasting impression on his children. He leaves behind memories that will continue to live on through those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Thelma Gray, and his former wife, Tammy Ann Donzelli Gray.

Garry is survived by his four sons, Garry, Andrew, Samuel, and Ryan, and by his brother, Andrew Gray.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 16th, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with a brief service at 11:00 a.m., at Adams Mason Funeral Home in Akron, Ohio.
