Jerry was born in Akron, Ohio. He truly lived life to the fullest. In his youth he was a phenomenal baseball player, and continued to follow and enjoy sports throughout his lifetime. He was a man with a genuine talent for crafting, fixing, and repairing. There was not a project he couldn’t complete when he set his mind to it. Jerry was also a culinary wizard who was constantly able to woo and charm those who tasted his food. Every Sunday he would invite his family and friends over for a traditional-style meal as a way of staying connected with those close to him. He was not only a family man, but also a man of great dedication and work ethic - he was self-made. Often boasting about retiring at 40, he built up his legacy with his own two hands putting countless hours into his dream. Jerry was a devoted and charismatic man who always livened up a room when he entered it. He was loved and will be truly missed by all those that knew him, especially his family.
