Geraldine Sharpe

On January 21, 2026, Geraldine Sharpe left this Earth to be with her beloved husband, Ronald Sharpe. She was born in Gadsden, Alabama and later moved to Akron, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Sharpe, and two sons, Michael Rogers and Preston Sims Sr., and one brother, Fredrick Warren.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one brother, Arnold F. Sims; daughters, Ocie Townsend (James), Vickie Little (Arthur), Teresa Roger, Martha Lewis, Debbie Nolan, Linda Autry (John), Anise Garrett; and sons, Allen Rogers (Era), Anthony Garrett (LaQuita), Tony C. Garrett (Sharayah), Johnny C. Garrett, and John Garrett Jr. (Aprill).

A Memorial Service will be held at Noon on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Adams Mason Funeral Home 791 E. Market St. Akron, Ohio 44305. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
