Glennis Nyles Wisdom

Glennis N. Wisdom "Glen", 81, passed away June 29, 2025 in Brimfield Township, Ohio after a long battle with diabetes.  Formerly of southern Indiana, Glen was born November 7, 1943 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the son of the late Orrville and Elnora Wisdom.  He will always be remembered for his gentle nature.  He was easy going and loved to cheer for his Colts, and anything having to do with Indiana University Sports.  Glen was a pillar of his hometown of Sellersburg, Indiana.  You could find him playing Santa Claus for years, supporting the sports programs, and being instrumental with many organizations, including the Sellersburg Parks Board and Sellersburg Celebrates.  He was also a member of Grace Community Church.  In addition to his parents, Glen is preceded in death by his wife Carole; and his siblings Gerald Wisdom and Linda Spear.  He is survived by his sons David (Jackie) Wisdom and Christopher (Stacey) Wisdom; grandchildren Eric Wisdom, Sarah (Ray) Rowe, Aaron Wisdom, Ryan Wisdom, and Kyle Wisdom; great grandchildren Lena Wisdom, Cash and Ezekiel Rowe; his brother Garey Wisdom; as well as many family members and friends.  A celebration of Glen's life will be 2:00 PM Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Grace Community Church (124 South Indiana Avenue, Sellerburg, Indiana 47172).  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.  Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
