Gregory Novak

It’s with great sadness that the family of Gregory Mark Novak announces that he passed away June 13th. He was born January 14th, 1952 in Akron, Ohio. He was a graduate of Archbishop Hoban High School. Greg had a great love of cars and was always working on one of his cars. He spent many years living and working in Florida as a mechanic before returning to Akron to help his brother Vincent. They enjoyed watching sports and especially car races on TV.

He was predeceased by his parents Chester Novak Sr and Eva DiFeo and sister Rebecca Novak. He is survived by brothers Chester (Barbara) of South Carolina, Jerome (Barbara) of Florida, Vincent of Akron and sister Cynthia of California. He also leaves nephews Neil Novak, Keir (Melissa) Novak, Devin (Amy) Novak and nieces Kristen Novak, Kimberlee Novak, and Lezlie (Jarvis) Whitehead, grandnieces, grandnephews and many cousins.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 1580 Brown Street Akron, OH 44301. A luncheon will take place immediately after at Hopocan Gardens, 4396 W. Hopocan Avenue Ext, Norton, OH 44203.
