Hayden Stover was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Hayden, known as "Smokey" by everyone, retired from Alsides after 35 years. Though he was an avid Browns and Buckeyes fan, he was his children and grandchildren's number one fan.
Hayden worked several years at Spring Hills Golf Course and loved to play the game. He also volunteered as a youth football coach for several years for the Ellet Community.
Hayden is preceded in death by his loving wife Jean Stover; brothers Charlie Stover, Roy Stover, Lindsy “Houston” Stover, and Eugene “Dink” Stover.
He is survived by his son Michael (Julie) Stover; daughter Robin Stover; stepsons Brian (Tammy) Barnes, and James Gougler; stepdaughter Pamala (Michael) Hoskins; grandchildren Zachary (Danelle) Stover, Kali Stover, Julien Kostelenski, Jenny Hoskins, and Kristin Hoskins; and great grandchildren Stephen Blair, Brooke Blair, and Ruby Stover; brother Hillard “Babe” (Patsy) Stover; and sister Carol (Chuck) Hambrick.
Though we are deeply saddened by his departure, we take great comfort that he is once again by his wife Jean's side.
