Henry N. Bereider Jr.

Henry N. Bereider Jr., 68, passed away after health complications on February 24, 2024.  He was born February 26, 1955 in Somerset, PA, the son of the late Henry and Saundra Bereider Sr.  After graduating from Garfield High School, Henry served his country in the U.S. Army.  He retired from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office after a long career in law enforcement.  Henry will be best remembered as a person who enjoyed spending time with family, having family dinners, and going to his grandkids sporting events.  He loved classic cars and collecting knives.

In addition to his parents, Henry is preceded in death by his grandson Roy Jacob McGlone.  He is survived by his daughter Melissa (Kevin) McGlone; son Jason Bereider; the mother of his children Mary Bereider; sisters Nicky (Bill) Dobson and Nancy Bereider; and his grandkids Aubree, Brock, and Cole.  

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and he will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186.
