Inez M. Walden

Inez M. Walden, 98, passed away July 25, 2023.  She was born January 20, 1925 in Mims, Florida, the daughter of the late Oris and Ethel Mathis.  Inez was a member of Temple Baptist Church.  She retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company after many years of service working at Plant C.  Inez will always be remembered as happy and outgoing person who was devoted to her family.  In her free time she enjoyed working in her flower beds and doing crossword puzzles.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Earl Walden Sr.; daughter and son-in-law Gwendolyn Marie Troyer and Paul Eli Troyer; and her brother Jerry Dan Mathis.  Inez is survived by her son Earl (Donna) Walden Jr.; brother E.J. Mathis; grandchildren Amy (William) Rayman, Eric (Ryann) Walden, Valerie Smyers, Debbie (Terry) Mackey, Sheryl (Chuck) Sklare, Marci (Eddie) Shockley; 11 great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren; and sister-in-law Irene Mathis.  Special thanks to her great granddaughter Jacki McGarrity for taking the time from her family to care for Inez in the final weeks of her life.  The family will receive friends 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Friday, August 4, 2023 at Temple Baptist Church (1212 Greensburg Road), where funeral services will immediately follow at 12:30 PM.  Rev.
