Irene Mae Pine

Irene Mae Pine, 86, of Barberton, passed away peacefully at the residence of her son.

Irene was born on July 16, 1940, to the late Earl and Thelma Miller.

Irene enjoyed cheering on her Cleveland sports teams, including the Browns, Guardians and Cavaliers. She also enjoyed watching Big Brother, spending time with her beloved cat, Cookie, and playing poker with her family on Saturdays.

She is survived by her daughters, Terri Lyn (Gary) McCracken, Wendy Pine, and April Pine; her son, Butch (Angel) Pine; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Dorothy and Carol.

Irene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald; her parents; her sisters, Lois and Nancy; and her brother, Earl Jr.

Irene’s son Butch would like to extend a special thank-you to his wife, Angel, for the loving care and dedication she provided to Irene. They would also like to express their sincere gratitude to Corso Care Hospice, especially her nurse, Tiffany, for the compassionate care and support they provided during this time.

In accordance with Irene’s wishes, no services will be held. Burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
