Jack passed away peacefully on May 1st, 2025. Jack was born in Akron to parents William G and Mildred L Boyle. He is survived by wife, Judi Boyle, sisters Pat Boyle and Becky Blum (Calvin McNeal), brothers-in-law Jim (Kathy) Baston and Dennis (Diane) Baston. Also step children Yvonne Olenzak (John Messina) and Jason Miller (Kristin Millius), grandchildren Alyssa and Zack Olenzak and great grandchildren Arianna Tingle, Winnrey Tingle and Jaycen, Carsyn and Wyatt Kinder, and many other cousins, nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his parents William G and Mildred L Boyle, brothers William G Boyle (Sandy Boyle-Taillon) and Robert L(Gayle) Boyle. Jack was a man ahead of his time when it came to gadgets and technology. He always wanted to be among the first to have the latest trend. He set up many things using a Raspberry Pi computer, had a 3D printer and his Tesla, the latest cell phone and a very large TV screen. Jack was a singer and along with his wife Judi they used to perform at bars, weddings, events and entertained at many nursing homes. They took granddaughter Alyssa to the nursing homes when she was a toddler and he would hold her and sing to her and the patients loved it. The patients also cheered when Jack finally proposed marriage to Judi. Jack loved the older country music. Jack and Judi loved to take long transatlantic cruises and sing in the karaoke lounge and talent competitions. They also met friends from England and the US whom they visited at different times through the years. They had the opportunity to take Arianna on a cruise to Alaska. Many of the trips had an extra detour to California to visit our Aunt Jimmie and Uncle Chuck and our cousins Andrea, Paul, Leah and Murrie and friends Jeff and Caryn. Jack also learned to ski and skied at Mt Hood in Oregon, Seven Springs in Pennsylvania and Brandywine in the local area. Jack was an avid fan of SpaceX and had an app on his phone that alerted him to all the rocket launches. He would stay up late at night and get up early in the morning to watch the launches.
He loved cooking breakfast and many will remember the big breakfasts he and Joe cooked over the campfire.
Jack had lymphoma and went through many regimens of treatment and was willing to participate in trials with his treatment which put him into full remission. He was interviewed by a news station and asked to speak at a luncheon for potential donors to University Hospital and Seidman Cancer Center and appears in a commercial that we still occasionally see on TV. We may never know if any of the treatment triggered his neurological disorder but he fought a courageous battle and we had him with us several years longer since he did the treatment. He had no regrets.
The family would like to thank all those who stayed close and offered their time and loving and unconditional support before and after Jack's passing and for all the prayers.
