James Lee Garland

James Garland, 67 of Akron, Ohio passed away at home with his family by his side on June 15th, 2024. He was born on May 9th, 1957 to Hunter and Virginia Garland of Akron, Ohio.

Jim graduated from Akron Garfield in 1975 then began working for Set Products, then Master Builders, from there Jim went on to work for Quikrete in Cleveland where he worked for 34 Years. 

Jim and Tina met in 1977 and were married on Sept 15, 1979. Jim loved riding his motorcycle on long country roads and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved going to his granddaughter Parker’s softball and basketball games. 

Jim was proceeded in death by his parents, Hunter and Virginia Garland and his brother-in-law Joe Franjesh. 

Jim leaves behind his loving wife of 45 years Tina, Daughters Christina Garland, Heather (Mike) Martina and son James Jr. (Allison) Garland, 4 Grandchildren Parker, Mikey, Mikaylah, Savannah and family friend Kristy. Sister-in-Laws, Vickie and Sheila, Brother-In-Law, Russell (Tammy) Fresh and many friends and family. 

Jim will be sadly missed by all. Jim will be cremated. Celebration of life will be held July 13th, 2024 from 12pm-5pm at The Dusty Armadillo 3147 SR-44., Rootstown, Ohio 44272. Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
