James W. Porter

James W. Porter 90 of Kent, Ohio formerly of Scottsdale, PA passed away April 1, 2025 at University Hospital Portage Ravenna, Ohio. 

Jim was born October 7, 1934 in Charleroi, PA, a son of James S. and Nell Marie Cottom Porter. Jim was a farmer and huge Steeler fan. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years Phyllis Barnes Porter and daughter Bonnie Marie Vukovich. He is survived and missed by Sarabeth Scull, children James (Linda), Beverly, Kenneth (Shawnde),Barbara Cavanaugh (Rich) and William (Michelle). Grandchildren Meagan, Chrissy, Ashley, Austin including 6 great grandchildren. Survived and missed by Chad Matthew, Joshua, Sarah, Ryan, Thomas, Bethany,  Mackenzie and Theo James. Jim also leaves behind 4 brothers and a sister, Harry, Keith, Don, Gary and Janet and numerous nieces and nephews.
