Jerry Lee Thein

Jerry Thein, 58, passed away peacefully 7/21/25 at 1:30pm. Preceded in death by his father James Thein, mother Patricia Thein, sister in law Aimee, niece Jaimie, and Boss Man.

Survived by his children, Justin(Jess), Jerry, Megan(Jared), Jacob, and Brittany. His grandchildren EJ, JJ, Logan, Pheobe, Kayden, Shyann, and Hadley. As well as his Ex Spouse and best friend Michelle.

Also survived by his Siblings, Michael, Wendy (Sam), and Charlie (Bobbie), along with numerous nieces and nephews, his LKQ coworkers, friends, and the families God chose for him. Jerry cherished his family, to him family was an act of will and love.

He loved riding his motorcycles, visiting friends, riling up the children before he would head home. He loved being outdoors taking in all of Gods wonders, making people laugh, and pushed everyone to be a better version of themselves.

There were no strangers to Jerry, he treated everyone as if he already knew them and made sure they walked away with a smile.

He liked to be known as the Grinch, but in reality he was a big teddy bear. Most of all, Jerry loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. They were his whole world and his heart was full daily. With sorrow in our hearts he will be missed dearly, but as Jerry would say “EVERYDAY IS A GREAT DAY”.

At Jerry’s request there will be no funeral or calling hours, the family will announce his celebration of life at a later date.
