James Edward Baughman

James Edward “Jim” Baughman, 65, of Warren, Ohio, passed away on August 23, 2026. Born in Warren on November 29, 1960, he was the son of the late James Baughman and Mary Crumb.

A graduate of Niles McKinley High School, Jim was an exceptionally dedicated worker throughout his life, most notably working at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He retired after a remarkable 40-year career.

Jim had a wonderful personality and a way of making others feel welcome. Known for his kindness, generosity, and loving nature, he was always ready to listen and never hesitated to be there when his family needed him. He took tremendous pride in his children and grandchildren and found great joy in celebrating their lives and accomplishments.

Jim enjoyed fishing, golfing, good food, and traveling, especially to the beach. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his family and grandchildren.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Karol Baughman; his children, Jim (Eileen) Luonuansuu of Newton Falls, Robert Luonuansuu of Austintown, Laurie Groghan of Leavittsburg, Cameron (Larissa) Betts of Fowler, Nathan Betts of Niles, and Meghan Betts of Niles; his grandchildren, Tyler, Kayla, Harley, Matthew, Erin, Dakota, Hannah, Aubrianna, Gage, Thomas, and Lincoln; and his niece, Sheri Horton.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his twin sisters; his sister, Jean Penland; his brother, John Baughman; his first wife, Lauralee Baughman; and his niece, Sheila Zombar.

In accordance with Jim’s wishes, no services will be held.
