Jimmie Marie Bennett

Jimmie "JJ" Marie Bennett, 72, passed away February 20, 2026.  She was born February 14, 1954 in Akron, the daughter of the late James and Harriet Case.  Jimmie will always be remembered as a fun, friendly and outgoing person.  She loved to dance and listen to music.  Jimmie also took great pride tending to her house plants and feeding the squirrels and wildlife.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her companion Ronald Cochran; sister Juanita; and brother David.  Jimmie is survived by her daughter Julie Bohoff (Chris); son Gene (Becky) Brown; daughter Destany (Todd) Rager; daughter Heather (Jamie) Sloan; sisters Barbara Chelewski, Patty House, and Judy Holland; sister-in-law Wendy Case; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.  Per her wishes cremation will take place and her family will celebrate her life.  Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
