John G. Fisher, 65, passed away on September 2, 2026, with his loving mother by his side.

John was born on October 18, 1960, in Amherst, Ohio, to Alice and Glenn Fisher. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States National Guard.

John was an avid collector who found great enjoyment in coins, stamps, and Bibles. These collections reflected his appreciation for history and the things he found meaningful. He also shared a special bond with his beloved cat, Tommy, who brought him much companionship and happiness.

John was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Fisher; his brother, Doug Fisher; and his sister, Beverly Phillips.

He is survived by his devoted mother, Alice Fisher; his nephew, Joshua Phillips; and a loving extended family who will remember him and miss him dearly.

John’s life was filled with the simple things he treasured, the interests he pursued, and the family and faithful companion he loved. His memory will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
