Johnny Lane Harrison

Johnny Lane Harrison, 82, of Akron, passed away November 26, 2022.  He was born December 27, 1939 in Polka, West Virginia, the son of the late Dennis and Thelma Harrison.  He served his country in the U.S. Army as a helicopter mechanic, during the Vietnam era.  He later retired from Ford Motor Company with over 30 years of service.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his family watching baseball and football.  Johnny was the type of guy who looked out for everyone.  He would give you the shirt off of his back.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy; granddaughter Katelyn Bailey; and sister Sonia.  Johnny is survived by his daughters Rhonda (Scott) Johnson, and Crystal Harrison; six grandchildren; sisters Fonda Williams and Mary White.  Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.  Arrrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home and Crematory.
