Josh Lech

Josh Lech, of Wooster, gained his wings on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with Heart Disease.

Joshua Randall Steven Lech was born on July 3, 1988, in Hoffman Estates, Illinois to Steven Lech and Marguerite (Bruce) Funk. He graduated from Hillsdale High school and the Ashland County West Holmes Career Center in 2006.

Josh enjoyed going on walks, spending time with family, watching scary movies, and listening to music. He loved Disney and got to visit Disney World in 2014.  He loved the holidays. He was an avid movie buff who could name directors and what movies they directed. Loved a lot of oldies music. He loved playing games. He was very appreciative and thankful for everything and everybody. He lived life to the fullest. He just loved life.

He is survived by his mother and stepdad; his sisters Danielle Siegel (Tom) of Hilliard, Megan (Shane) Boyd of Jeromesville, Ashleigh (Phillip) Williams of Cincinnati, and Noelle Lech (Tim) of Wooster; nieces and nephews Cameron, Rosalynne, Noah, Brady, Tiffani, Abbiegail, and Alexis; fur nephews Ziggy, Falkor, Tiberius, and Bubba Gump; plus, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, his sister, Courtney Lech, and his grandparents.
